Château de la Cour
From £190/year
This Grand Cru comes from a parcel in the southern end of the Saint-Émilion appellation. The 12 months in wooden barrels give it a hint of vanilla and baking spices that blends perfectly with its nose of intoxicating dark purple fruits.

WHY YOU WILL LOVE IT…
Ideal to show off a Bordeaux from one of its most prestigious appellations. It can be served immediately or left to be aged in the cellar for several years.
History of the vineyard
The vineyard of Saint-Émilion Grand Cru of Château de la Cour is only a small 3.1 hectares. The more specific parcel of la Cabane is situated on the lowlands at the bottom of the majestic village of Saint-Émilion where its famous Bell Tower can be easily sighted. For several of the plantings of Merlot, the vines are over 50 years old. For exceptional vintages, this parcel is selected to make a special cuvee called Le Joyau.
