APPELLATION & VINTAGE
Sauternes Premier Cru Classé 2015
VARIETALS
94% Semillon, 6% Sauvignon Blanc.
DEVELOPMENT
The botrytised bunches are harvested manually and very selectively, over several trips across the vineyard. The wine is aged in barrels for 18 months.
COLOUR
Intense golden yellow, reflecting a strong maturity.
NOSE
First, smoky and mineral nuances as well as ripe stone fruits. Then, notes of honey, verbena and sweet spices.
PALATE
Initially yellow peach, pineapple and spices. Powerful, elegant and long on the palate, finishing with fresh notes of juicy orange and spices.
This Sauternes has a magical nose with aromas of exotic fruits, but above all its freshness is truly remarkable and makes you want to dive back into it after every sip. A Sauternes wine that is both rich and fresh is the mark of great precision.

WHY YOU WILL LOVE IT…
Here's a wine that will no doubt outlive us. At Château Suduiraut, longevity and prestige go hand in hand with freshness and immediate pleasure.
History of the vineyard
Le Perrin, a small plot of 1.13 hectares, is situated at the highest point of the Château Suduiraut vineyard.
Sheltered by a wood, this terroir composed of poor soil forces the vine to create concentrated grapes while the stones and gravel, which capture the heat of the sun, allow the Semillon to reach perfect maturity.
